Whatever the origins of a holiday, most people mark it at a specific time or season. There are several different types of holidays that's why we've listed them here.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is the last day of the season when people celebrate the birth of Jesus. People celebrate this day by exchanging gifts and catching up with friends and family. Also, it is the day when people decorate the Christmas Tree is decorated, especially in European countries.

Diwali marks the Hindu celebration of light. In Hinduism, light represents goodness that is why during the festival you can see people lighting lamps.
